Our Recruitment Officer's conduct pre-qualification of candidates via preliminary interviews,trade tests(if necessary) and security check of references.
Recommend the pre-qualified applicants to their respective employers for short-listing and final selection of the employer.
Assist and brief the applicants during final interview with the employer.
Provide pre-employment briefing and orientation for approved workers regarding salary rates,background of host-country,requirements for processing,procedures and time frame for mobilization.
Coordinate with the Medical Clinic accredited by Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) referral and results of physical/medical examination.
Monitor the completion of passports,NBI Clearance,Medical Results, etc which are requirements of Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) and other government agencies concerned.
Provide progress reports on the status of mobilization of each candidate.
Process the papers of approves applicants with the respective embassies, Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) and other government agencies concerned,
Assist in the authentication of educational certificates with Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA), Department of Education (DepEd) and the Office of the President of the Philippines.
Arrange for booking and flight confirmation to the country of destination, in cooperation with the employer, worker and travel agency/airline offices.
Conduct Pre_Departure Orientation Seminar (PDOS) and briefing which covers the following topics;
Culture and Tradition of Host Country.
Code of Discipline for Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW).
Responsibilities of the OFW's to their families, the employer, agency, country, etc.
What to expect and how to adjust to the overseas employment conditions.
Extend housing/dormitory facilities for workers coming from the provinces with confirmed flight details and with no relatives in Manila.
Assist the workers at the airport during departure from Manila.
POST DEPLOYMENT
JS Contractor, Inc. specifically undertakes the following post-deployment services;
Periodic monitoring of workers in jobsite and assessment of situations pertaining to their employment contracts, working conditions and welfare.
Monitor with special attention to gender sensitive working conditions in order to address and assist particular needs of women workers;
Job site visits to workers overseas and provide moral support and or assistance in case of employment related problems;
Provides legal and/or financial assistance to distress workers having problems not related to work, e.g., accidents, abuses, detention, imprisonment or being criminally indicted or charged in foreign court, body or tribunal;
Extends financial assistance, airport assistance and/or whatever other assistance or benefit to repatriated worker.
Processing of employment contract and whatever other travel documents of re-hired worker and workers on leave, and arrange the booking and flight confirmation of the workers' return to jobsite.
Coordinate with the families that have claims, complaints or benefits due with the government agencies both in the Philippines ad abroad in coordination with the employer.
Such other assistance to the employees as may be requested from time to time by the employer.
